My
Story
Lee Koss
I started writing as a kid—my first long story was 15 pages aged eleven and got marked “TOO LONG” in red ink by my teacher.
Years later, in my twenties, I wrote several plays while working as a journalist in Geneva.
For the next 30 years, I wrote professionally as a Communications Expert in various organizations located in French-speakng Switzerland.
In 2020, during the pandemic, I published my first crime novel, Murkier than the Mersey, set in Liverpool, England, available on Amazon.
I followed it with the Balthazar Theater trilogy, set in the Jorat region in Switzerland where I now live. My fifth book, Death Circles in a Famous Swiss Ski Resort, kicks off a new trilogy based in the Vaudois Alps around Villars-Gryon, a famous Swiss ski resort.
My goal is simple: to ENTERTAIN.
Hearing someone say “I couldn’t put it down” is the best reward. I plan every plot carefully, but I let the story surprise me as it unfolds long the way.
I truly hope you enjoy reading my thrillers as much as I love writing them.

J’ai commencé à écrire très jeune, avec une première histoire de 15 pages à 11 ans, notée "trop long" par mon prof. Dix ans plus tard, j’ai repris l’écriture avec des pièces de théâtre à Genève, tout en travaillant comme journaliste puis communicant en Suisse romande.
En 2020, j’ai publié mon premier polar pendant la pandémie. S’en sont suivis les trois tomes du Théâtre Balthazar, situés dans le Jorat, où je vis aujourd’hui. Mon cinquième roman, Énigme mortelle sur les pistes vaudoises, lance une nouvelle trilogie dans les Alpes autour de Villars-Gryon.
Je cherche avant tout à divertir. Rien ne me rend plus heureux qu’un lecteur disant : “Je n’ai pas pu lâcher ce livre.” Chaque histoire est soigneusement structurée, mais je laisse parfois l’intrigue me surprendre. J’espère que vous prendrez autant de plaisir à lire mes thrillers que j’en ai eu à les écrire.
